RJSHS 26-27 Sporting Event Passes will go on Sale on Monday, August 17th in the RJSHS office. An adult pass is $85 and a family pass is $150. If you are 65 years of age or older, senior citizen passes are available at the district office at no charge and do not need to be renewed each year.

The free and reduced lunch applications received by August 10 have been processed, and PowerSchool has been updated accordingly, which also affects book fees. Letters regarding free and reduced status will be mailed later this week or early next week. School menus are now available on the USD 407 website under the dining tab. If your student requires a meal modification, please ensure a current form is completed by a licensed provider. Bickerdyke Band Signup:
Bickerdyke Band is a beginning band class open for students enrolled in 5th and 6th grade at USD 407. This program will be offered after school Monday (5th grade), Tuesday (6th grade), and Wednesday (5th and 6th grade) from 3:45-5:00. Students will be bussed to Russell Junior-Senior High School at the end of the school day. This program allows young musicians the opportunity to learn how to play a musical instrument in an energizing, invigorating, and loving atmosphere. Enrollment is now open through August 22nd.
Meals will continue to be available for children in the community as Feeding the Future resumes distributing meals on Monday, July 27th, for kids ages 1-18, with the requirement that children must be present to receive them. Meals will be available at the USD #407 District office from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and please use the west entrance to enter the building.

Russell County USD 407 is looking for a dependable person to drive a suburban twice a day (mornings and afternoons) to Hays. Part-time or more. Driver needs to be 1st Aid, CPR, and Defensive Driving certified. Trainings will be paid by USD 407. In addition, driver must attend safety meetings monthly (1 hour).
