USD 407 is excited to announce that we were awarded the 21st Century Learning Grant for the next 5 years. This $585,000 grant allows us to offer FREE after school care Mondays - Thursdays 3:30-5:30 as well as our 3 week summer school program. All students Kdg - 6th grade are welcome to sign up. The program provides students with a snack, recess, and three engaging rotations of art, science, and movement. Enrollment happens once a year. Once slots are full, we typically don't enroll students throughout the year. 4 day per week attendance is strongly encouraged as average daily attendance is submitted for grant reporting.
First day is August 17th
We have three family nights a year that our families are strongly encouraged to attend (family attendance is recorded for grant reporting)
We provide a family survey in the spring to complete (results are shared for grant reporting)
Breaktime is a bonus offering so we operate under three strikes and you are out for behavior. Strikes include disruptive behaviors outside of typical reminders.
Last day is May 6th
