Bickerdyke Elementary will be hosting a monthly Lunch & Learn. Community members are invited to join 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and/or 5th graders for a free school lunch to talk about their jobs. Each month, we focus on a different group of local professionals. September 14th will be our first event of the school year, and we will be recognizing members in Law Enforcement, Dispatch, and Fire Departments. Throughout the year, we will also recognize people in Healthcare, Armed Forces & Veterans, Oil & Gas, Agriculture & Ranching, Elected Officials, Department Heads, & Court Employees, Community Organizations, Banking, Finance, Insurance, and anyone who works in Trades like Plumbing, Construction, and Mechanical. Community members are asked to RSVP before the day of the event. To RSVP, call the BES office at 785-483-6066. Guests should sign in upon arrival.
