LICENSED POSITIONS AVAILABLE

Applicants must hold or be eligible for Kansas licensure.  To complete the application process for licensed positions, applicants are asked to submit an official up-to-date college transcript and letters of recommendation. The applicant should feel free to submit any additional information that may benefit the applicant’s candidacy. The Licensed Application is available online only. Salary is commensurate with experience and based on the Master Collective Bargaining Agreement. Health insurance and Section 125 benefits are available. Coaching opportunities are available but not required. Russell County USD 407 is searching for a Counselor for students in preschool through grade 5 beginning with the 2020-2021 school year. This is a full-time position. INSTRUCTIONAL COACH (posted 01/27/2020)
USD 407, Russell County Schools is in search of an Instructional Coach to assist administration in implementing effective instructional practices in all classrooms. The successful candidate should hold a valid teaching, counseling, or administrative license with preference given to endorsements as a Reading Specialist, Masters in Math, or Masters in Curriculum Instruction. Candidate shall have five or more years of successful teaching experience; knowledge and/or experience with results-based staff development; and experience with curriculum and effective researched-based teaching practices. Candidate should be skilled at motivating and providing leadership at the district and building level.

Russell County USD 407 has an opening for a Social Worker (PK-5). This is a full-time position; however, part time will be considered. Job duties include effective collaboration with special education colleagues, administrators, and general education staff; creating and directing behavioral interventions; providing consultation to staff, parents, and families; assisting in IEP development; and, serving as a member of General Education Intervention/Child Find teams. Russell County USD 407 is taking applications for bus drivers.  Applicants must possess a high school diploma and a valid CDL license with required endorsements. Applicants must pass the required KDOT physical for bus drivers. USD 407 will train and assist individuals in obtaining the proper credentials. Russell County USD 407 is seeking applicants for a Food Service – Cook at Russell High School. This position will be responsible for the preparation of assigned food; follow work schedules; abides by safety and sanitation regulations; and helps with any phase of kitchen operations. USD 407 is currently accepting applications for a Paraeducators beginning with the 2020-202l school year. Paraeducators provide instructional support in programs with Title 1 and Special Education funds and must meet the following requirements: individuals must have a high school diploma or a GED, AND complete a minimum of 48 hours of higher education OR obtain an associates degree (or higher) OR pass a state approved assessment that assesses the ability to assist in instructing, reading, writing and mathematics. APPLY HERE.
