USD 407 voters will receive a very important letter with a survey pursuing thoughts and reflections concerning our facilities.  We have long been gathering data, creating ideas, keeping up, and otherwise patching some things regarding our facilities. The time has come to plan and determine our most important priorities; hence your ideas and input.

It will take a bond to do the work necessary to update our facilities that have not had any major work or upgrades to systems and structure in more than 55 years.  Please look for the envelope from Fort Hays State University in your mail soon. We wish for you to fill out that feedback and mail it as directed so that the data can be compiled for USD 407’s use to determine the highest priorities as reflected by community.  The data is important and must be completed and returned per the instructions by August 01, 2018.

The Docking Institute of Public Affairs at Fort Hays State University is conducting this survey to assess the opinions of the local voters. The Institute is a nonprofit and non-biased research organization with vast school bond survey research experience. Please visit the Institute’s web site for more information: www.fhsu.edu/docking/.

This survey is voluntary and anonymous. Nothing on the survey form nor on the return envelope identifies you. Only grouped data will be analyzed and presented to the USD 407 Board to help us develop a plan based upon the reflections of voters.
