CERTIFIED POSITIONS AVAILABLE

Applicants must hold or be eligible for Kansas licensure. Completion of a district generated online application is required to be considered for the position. To complete the application process for certified positions, applicants are asked to submit an official up-to-date college transcript and letters of recommendation. The applicant should feel free to submit any additional information that may benefit the applicant’s candidacy. Salary is commensurate with experience and based on the Master Collective Bargaining Agreement. Health insurance and Section 125 benefits are available. PARENTS-AS-TEACHERS COORDINATOR (posted 9/10/2019)
Russell County USD 407 has an immediate opening for a Parents-As-Teachers Coordinator. High school diploma required and a minimum of 60 hours of college credit in a related field. (Early childhood or elementary education, nursing, or social services preferred.) Basic computer skills required. The PAT Coordinator will provide direct services and support to families and children of USD 407. Ongoing staff development is an integral part of the position.

SOCIAL WORKER – DISTRICT WIDE (posted 8/16/2019)
Russell County USD 407 has an immediate opening for a Social Worker (K-12). This is a full-time position; however, part time will be considered. Job duties include effective collaboration with special education colleagues, administrators, and general education staff; creating and directing behavioral interventions; providing consultation to staff, parents, and families; assisting in IEP development; and, serving as a member of General Education Intervention/Child Find teams. The position requires proficient technology skills and the ability to manage a fast-paced work environment. Preference will be given to individuals that have Masters Level Social Worker credentials.
