CERTIFIED POSITIONS AVAILABLE
Applicants must hold or be eligible for Kansas licensure. Completion of a district generated online application is required to be considered for the position. Elementary Principal (posted 11/13/2018)
Russell County USD 407 is searching for an elementary principal at Simpson Elementary School to focus on primary grade levels PK – 2. USD 407 is in staged development planning to open a PK opportunity for all students in fall 2020, a bond that could enrich and build new classrooms for the elementary schools, curriculum organization that focuses on community-wide K readiness, and personalized learning components for students and staff. Applicants need to be highly engaged in redesign ideas, ready to hire and build the PK-2 design, teamwork, collaboration of all, and risk taking. Paraeducator (posted 12/5/2018)
USD 407 is accepting applications for a special education paraeducators at the elementary level. In addition to having a high school diploma, paraeducators must pass a competency test accepted by the Kansas Department of Education or possess 48 hours of completed college credits. Competency testing will be provided and monitored through the USD 407 Special Education Department.
