RMS Counts reaches out to students at Ruppenthal MiddleSchool by offering a safe, supportive environment before and after school. Activities include math, tutoring, language arts, and youth development. The program is staffed by teachers and relies heavily on youth voice. In its first year RMS involved 35 students . Principal Gaylon Walter hopes to expand the program, broaden the types of activities offered, and involve parents in the education of their children. The program is funded through private donations and community support.

How to get your child involved:

  1. Fill out enrollment form with a contact number
  2. Student signs up for activity in Cafeteria during lunchtime
  3. SHOW UP and HAVE FUN!

Programs offered Weekly:
Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday

Daily Schedule:
Homework Time: 3:30 - 4 p.m.
Activity Time: 4 to 5 p.m.
