Ethnobotany is the study of the stories and love of a regionís plants. On the plains of Kansas, the beauty of the vegitation sometimes gets lost in the vastness of the open spaces. This project brings these plants into the Russell community for closer inspection and understanding of the importance they played in the lives of the Native Americans and the early settlers of our area.
