Russell High School Student Council consists of members elected as representatives from each of the 4 classes.  The president, vice-president, secretary-treasurer and elections commissioner are elected at the end of school year and assume office over the summer.  The 6 class representatives are elected by their individual classes at the end of the school year.  The 2008-2009 applications will be available soon.  Member at Large positions are available at the beginning of the school year.

 The purpose of Student Council is to create better understanding and cooperation between students and faculty, to further good sportsmanship, and to promote the general welfare of the school.  The stuco sponsors various projects throughout the school year including Homecoming parade and dance, Winter Wonderland and the Academic Banquet just to name a few.

 Stuco meetings are held every Monday along with an executive board meeting.
