German  2

This is a continuation of German 1, working towards expanding the knowledge of vocabulary and grammar. There will be a heavier emphasis on grammar skills and the culture, history, and geography of German countries. There will be an introduction to German literature through poems and short stories. Conversational, listening, and writing skills will be furthered in the second year.
