Life Skills/ Child Development                      
Life Skills is a look at the joys and challenges faced by everyday living. It is a practical course to prepare students for living independently and with a future family. A wide variety of topics are included: survival skills, personal development, relationships, family crisis, nutrition, housing opportunities, money management, life, car, home and rental insurance, pregnancy, childbirth, and stages of development for children from infancy to late in childhood including child safety.  A requirement of this class is to take care of Baby Think It Over for a weekend. It is a computerized baby simulating care of a real child. It requires 24/hr/day care on the part of the student.  This course is open to students that
have not taken Life Skills/Child Development.  Enrollment is limited to 15.
