Bickerdyke Elementary News Station consists of a team of eight 5th grade students. Each class produces the BENS program for 12 weeks.



BENS jobs include 2 Commentators, 1 Computer Operator, 1 Switchboard Operator, 2 Station Managers, 1 Cameraperson, and 1 News Reporter.

BENS STATION


Bickerdyke Elementary News Station is aired to each BES classroom every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday of the school week starting at 8:20AM. Fifth grade students produce broadcasts using multiple forms of media such as live presentations, live and prerecorded interviews, computer generated products, CD-ROM programs, and professionally taped programs.


Coordinators for the BENS program are Mrs. Sherry Homeier and Mrs. Christina Bourland.
