Personal Information:

You can see from my professional experience that I have been in education for over 20 years.  I spent my first nine years in the classroom and the next nine as a building principal.  It was after that ninth year as a building principal that I realized I was missing the reason for getting into this profession, that was being a classroom teacher.  Our family made the tough decision to change career paths and get back to teaching high school math.  I am very happy with that change we made and am loving being a high school math teacher again!

I love sports of all kind and have continued that by coaching.  I have coached football, basketball, baseball, softball, and golf over the past 20+ years both at the high school level and youth level.  Having four sons, I have been active in coaching many of their activites.

Although my oldest son is attending KU, we are a die hard K-State family!  You will often see (and hear) our family rooting for the Wildcats in all of their sporting events.
