I graduated from Fort Hays State University. In addition, I spent two semesters studying in Germany and a summer term in Mexico.
I started teaching for USD 407 in 2003. Thus, I have been in the district for 12 years. I currently teach Spanish.
During college I taught a summer catechetical program for 2 summers. My student teaching was done at T.M.P.
I don’t have any children since I am not yet married. However, I do enjoy getting to see and interact with my goddaughter thanks to one of my closest friends who chose me to be a godfather. The honor of being chosen by my friend Luke to be a godfather allows me the privilege to be a dad in a sense. I also enjoy helping him with harvest by driving the semi, tandem, tractors and sometimes the combine. I have 2 nephews and 3 nieces.
The pets I have are the class fish that students asked for a few years ago. My dad raises buffalo, and growing up I lived with a mountain lion for a couple of years. She was raised from 13 days old and was fed with a bottle. A very loving pet.
I enjoy almost any kind of exercise. I can often be found running or playing basketball the most. I also like to ride bikes, swim and lift weights. I do not watch a lot of leisure t.v. I would rather read, visit the elderly or do service for others and exercise, along with silent reflection time. When I am not teaching, I like to travel at times, read, run or help a friend with harvest during the summer while playing with his daughter, my goddaughter, and her 5 siblings.
