CERTIFIED POSITIONS AVAILABLE

Applicants must hold or be eligible for Kansas licensure. Completion of a district generated online application is required to be considered for the position. To complete the application process for certified positions, applicants are asked to submit an official up-to-date college transcript and letters of recommendation. The applicant should feel free to submit any additional information that may benefit the applicant’s candidacy. Salary is commensurate with experience and based on the Master Collective Bargaining Agreement. The document is available on the district website at www.usd407.org under the Staff Resources/Handbooks link. Coaching opportunities are available but not required. Benefits include: Health Insurance, Section 125 Cafeteria Plan, Sick and Personal Leave.

USD 407 is accepting applications for  a full-time school psychologist to work with students in grades K-12.

USD 407 is accepting applications for an English Teacher at Russell High School beginning with the 2017-2018 school year.

USD 407 is accepting applications for a cook at Bickerdyke Elementary School. This is a 5 hour position.

Grounds Maintenance Employee (posted 8/15/2017)
USD 407 is accepting applications for a part-time grounds maintenance employee at Russell High School. The employee will work on school grounds under all weather conditions including snow removal and preparation of all athletic venues – turf, baseball field, track and gym.

Paraeducators (posted 7/14/2017)
USD 407 is accepting applications for paraeducators. Paraeducators provide instructional support in programs supported with Title 1 and Special Education funds and must meet the following requirements: individuals must have a high school diploma or a GED AND complete 48 hours at an institution of higher education OR obtain an associate’s (or higher) degree OR pass a State approved assessment that assesses the ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics.
